- Mar. 2010
- Hirotaka Hachiya (postdoc) received the Young Researcher Award from IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Japan Chapter.
- A review paper on machine learning based on density ratio has been accepted to Proceedings of the ISM.
- 1st (to 19th): Ms. Katja Hansen (Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany) is staying with.
She gives a talk on computational chemistry on Mar. 1st.
- 4th: At IPSJ SIG MPS, we present our work on multi-task learning.
- 5th: At DIA2010, we present our work on optical surface profiling.
- 8th: At Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences (Kyoto University), we give a talk on density ratio estimation.
- 9th: At ASJ 2010 Spring Meeting, we present our work on audio tagging.
- 14th-19th: At ICASSP2010, we present our work on density ratio estimation, speaker identification, and audio tagging.
- 23rd: At DAGStat2010, we present our work on partial least squares.
- 29th-30th: At DMSM2010-3, we present our work on density ratio estimation.

- Our paper on thesaurus construction has been accepted to IEICE Transactions.
- Our papers on conditional density estimation and sufficient dimension reduction has been accepted to AISTATS2010.
